You may already be a writer wanting to connect your spiritual life to what you put on the page.
Or you may be a spiritual seeker who doesn’t write yet, but is seeking a place for contemplation—a way to reflect on your hopes, insights and dreams.
Feed Your Spirit Writing offers an intensive exploration on the intersection of writing + spiritual life, including:
- 3 live (on Zoom) 1 hour and 15 minute sessions with a theme connected to the seasons
- A closed Facebook group to build community and for sharing support
- A closing celebration (on Zoom) for participants to listen and share
- The opportunity to publish one piece created in the workshop on my Medium blog
In July, we’ll dive into the midsummer energy of JOY. Through gentle, inclusive writing prompts we’ll explore what joy teaches us and how it shows up in our lives. If joy doesn’t feel very present in your life right now, not to worry~this process is about writing with whatever arises. Joy and grief walk hand in hand. We’ll explore what great poets including Joy Harjo, William Blake and Mary Oliver offer us about joy and notice small moments between the sessions when joy arises around us.
No previous writing experience required. I hope you’ll join us! Please email me with any questions or concerns.
