I’ve been working in Jewish education for 25+ years and love bringing my background in theatre/writing to Jewish storytelling. You may have read my chapter on theatre techniques in The Ultimate Jewish Teacher’s Handbook or my drama activities in Open It Up! Integrating the Arts into Jewish Education. I’ve published two books of plays for children The Magic Tanach and Other Short Plays and Extraordinary Jews Staging Their Lives and NOW am creating fresh new original plays for rabbis, educators and parents to use with their children!

High Holy Day plays

Engage children and their families in your Rosh HaShanah and Yom Kippur services or lessons with NEW original short plays. Great for intergenerational groups – can be used over Zoom or for in person services. This set of four plays includes one for each of the Tishrei holidays: Rosh HaShanah, Yom Kippur, Sukkot and Simchat Torah.

Each play comes with a set induction, discussion questions and extending activity ideas.

These plays inspire joy, discussion and reflection about the important values of our holiday season.

Torah plays

Theatre is a wonderful modality to teach Torah stories to students. This year, you can bring zest, energy, creativity and fun to your classroom or Junior congregation with brand NEW plays! A monthly subscription includes four new plays, discussion questions and extending activity ideas. The plays arrive the last week of the month and will begin with Beresheit (Genesis).
